Field of Vision is an award-winning design and graphics studio based in San Francisco, CA.  It produces content for marketing, communication, and informed decision-making for a broad and diverse range of applications. Our products engage an audience enabling better understanding, collaboration, and public involvement.

Founded in 2004, Field of Vision is owned by Richard Tsai.  Mr. Tsai brings 25 years of experience to producing visual simulations, motion graphics, 3D animations, and photography. Mr. Tsai is an architect and prior to forming Field of Vision, was the leader of the Design Visualization Group at the San Francisco office of AECOM (formerly EDAW Inc.), an internationally recognized planning and design firm.

Mr. Tsai has since worked on documentary films for broadcast television including Saving the Bay for which he was awarded two regional EMMY awards for Best Graphics and Animations and for Best Documentary. This was followed by the EMMY-winning documentary San Francisco Symphony at 100 and Becoming California which aired in September of 2014 which also earned a regional EMMY for Best Documentary.
